VIBRANCE-HEVC ENCODER and DECODER
Vibrance-HEVC, the first professional HEVC Encoder for broadcast, it is designed to focus on delivering cost effective video compression technology to meet the demands of low bandwidth networks for broadcast applications. Vibrance-HEVC is a 1RU compact HEVC Video Encoder/Decoder targeted at live streaming markets where bandwidth efficiency and Video Quality are prim priority:

Vibrance-HEVC Encoder and Decoder can be used in Pair.
Vibrance-HEVC Decoder is also a Multiformat Decoder H264/H265 and can be used with any other Encoders.

VIBRANCE-HEVC Encoder and Decoder
Vibrance comes in a Pair of Encoder and Decoder, both are used in a point to point applications, both are based on the same Chassis.
Vibrance Encoder and Decoder are enabled with H264 for interoperability when used separetely ( since RioCore Version1.1)

New CODEC HEVC/H.265:
HEVC/H.265 (High Efficiency Video Coding) is a new exciting international video compression standard, which enables up to 40% bitrate saving over the industry standard AVC/H.264 of today. Operators can benefit from this bitrate saving as a reduction in transmission costs or improved Video Quality and hence user experience.

RioCORE Technology:
The RioCORE HEVC compression engine is the technology of RioVideo Lab a pioneer in HEVC, driven by long experience in compression and with the best leaders in research in this domain.

RioCORE is based on a hybrid x86 and FPGA scalable architecture, in order to deliver a highly optimized and energy efficient compression engine.

The compression engine comprises a high performance Motion Estimation and Lookahead algorithms to steer the HEVC encoding algorithm. In addition the core HEVC algorithm is based on RDO (Rate Distortion Optimisation) with HVS (Human Visual System) sensitivity - to deliver the best video quality at the lowest achievable bitrate.

RioCORE Engine:
Vibrance-HEVC is powered by RioCORE compression Core engine, it delivers brilliant and clear picture and reducing by up to 40% the bitrate consumption compare to H264 in SD or HD.
